The last pack of stats I have for the Steelers 35-7 loss to the Ravens in week 1 are the passing and rushing stats of the various personnel packages that the Steelers used on offense this past Sunday. As you can see in the stats below, the Steelers did not have much success passing the ball with 4 or more wide receivers in the game which was 19 plays. Combined on those 19 plays, Ben Roethlisberger was 6 of 14 for 73 yards with 1 interception, 1 touchdown. He was sacked 4 times and scrambled once. Of course the other 2 interceptions did not help his other stats with at least 1 running back and 1 tight end in the game, but he was not sacked. He still faced pressure though, but it was manageable to some degree. He was 16 of 27 for 207 yards with 3 or less wide receivers in the game.
As far as the running game went, the Steelers ran best using 12 personnel, which is 1 running back and 2 tight ends in the game. They averaged 5.4 yards per carry on just 5 rushes despite 2 being thrown for losses. 1 of those 2 was the first play of the second half when Haloti Ngata came nearly untouched and it appears that David Johnson missed his assignment on the play that resulted in the fumble.
I will be adding the passing stats against the blitz shortly and will update with those stats as soon as they are formatted.
You can see the complete personnel used on offense for all 61 plays in the offensive participation report posted earlier in the week.
