Steelers Seahawks Week 2 Practice Injury Report – Thursday
The Steelers practiced again on Thursday in preparation of their Sunday game against the Seahawks at Heinz Field and the Thursday injury participation report was released following practice. Wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) did not work yet again and will likely be inactive for the second straight game. Left guard Chris Kemoeatu (knee) was limited on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday. Kemoeatu had his knee drained this week following the loss to the Ravens. Cornerback Bryant McFadden (hamstring) was also limited for a second straight day. Rookie cornerback Curtis Brown (ankle) practice fully after being limited on Wednesday. Linebacker James Farrior (not injury related), defensive end Aaron Smith (not injury related) and wide receiver Hines Ward (not injury related) all returned to practice fully Thursday after resting Wednesday. All three have been removed from the injury report.
For the Seahawks on Thursday, wide receiver Sidney Rice (shoulder) participated in team drills on Thursday, but still was listed as a limited in the team portion. Guard Robert Gallery (knee) fully participated in his second straight practice this week on Thursday and looks on track to play Sunday. Linebacker David Hawthorne (knee) also fully participated in his second straight practice on Thursday as well. Tackle Jarriel King (ankle), linebacker Malcolm Smith (hamstring), fullback Michael Robinson (ankle), cornerback Byron Maxwell (ankle) and defensive end Dexter Davis (hip) did not participate in practice Thursday and are not likely to play Sunday.
