Happy birthday to Dick LeBeau who turns 74 years of age today and this day should be a national holiday on which doves should be released and little children sing. Here is his HOF page. The 3-4 defense turns 30 years old this season in Pittsburgh and Ed Bouchette has a great piece on the history of the defense first installed by Chuck Noll and Woody Widenhofer.

James Harrison talked to Tim Benz yesterday of 105 The X to talk about the upcoming Ravens game. Harrison says he continues to get his conditioning better and he is doing better than he was after the Falcons game. Listen below.

The Steelers will likely dress only two quarterbacks on Sunday instead of three as Hines Ward would likely serve as the emergency back up as teams are now allowed to dress 46 players instead of 45 as the emergency 3rd QB rule is a thing of the past. This means Dennis Dixon likely will be inactive.

Dejan Kovacevic writes that the Ravens might suffer from a Steelers complex as he went to talk to several Ravens players this week.
