Steelers Texans Week 4 Practice Injury Report – Friday

Steelers Texans Week 4 Practice Injury Report - FridayThe Steelers finished their final on-field practice preparations today for the week 4 Sunday game on the road against the Houston Texans. The Friday injury report is out and as expected, guard Doug Legursky (shoulder), tackle Jonathan Scott (ankle) and defensive end Brett Keisel (knee) did not practice again and all three have been ruled out for Sunday. Wide receiver Mike Wallace (ribs), wide receiver Arnaz Battle (knee) and defensive tackle Steve McLendon (illness) all practiced fully on Friday and all three are listed as probable. Linebacker Chris Carter (hamsatring) is listed as questionable after not working today. With Legursky and Scott ruled out now, there is still no word if practice squad tackle Trevis Turner will be promoted to the 53 man roster. If this transaction indeed happens, it likely will not be announced until later tonight or early Saturday. Tackle Jamon Meredith will now likely dress on Sunday with Scott out and Trai Essex will get the start at left tackle. Ramon Foster is expected to start in the place of Legursky at right guard this week. Marcus Gilbert will make his third straight start at right tackle and participated fully in practice this week despite injuring his shoulder last week against the Colts. Gilbert never showed up on the week 4 injury report.

The Texans Friday report will be posted as soon as I get it.
