The Terrible Podcast – Colts Preview With Beat Writer Phil Wilson Episode
Season 2, Episode 20 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and make up for the short one Wednesday with a full hour today. We open with our Thursday interview with Phil Wilson, the Colts beat writer for the Indianapolis Star. Phil gives up his thoughts on the Sunday night game and tells it like it is. He updates us on the Colts injury situation and how he sees the Steelers attacking on both sides of the ball. In part 2 David and I look at the Thursday injury report. Ben Roethlisberger and Maurkice Pouncey appear to be set to go, while Brett Kiesel will be out. With other players coming back there is a question as to who will be active. We think it comes down to maybe three names for one helmet. On the Colts side, the injury list is much longer. We look at who is a go, who's a no-go and who their replacements might be. We then move on to break down the game. On offense we discuss schemes and approach. Will the Steelers come out running or throwing? Two tight end sets or three wides? Who will help with the Colts two All-Pro defensive ends? You get our thoughts on this and more. Defensively, William Gay is going to get the nod over Bryant McFadden this week. Has he made his last start as a Steeler as David suggested last week? Where will Troy Polamalu line-up? In the box to stop the run early or back to keep the Colts from making any explosive plays? Lots more analysis to go with our conversation with Phil to open the show.
