Season 2, Episode 13 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and I get a great preview of the Baltimore Ravens from John Eisenberg of CSNBaltimore.com. John brings us up to date on everything that has happened with the Ravens from hatchet day when the team released Todd Heap, Derrick Mason, et al, right up to the Ravens practice on Wednesday. There is tons of back-and-forth and John provides some excellent insight into both the personnel groupings and formations we can expect to see from the Ravens on Sunday. This is one of the best team previews we\’ve had, be sure to check it out. You can follow John on Twitter at @CSNEisenberg and visit his personal website at www.johneisenberg.com as well.
In Part 2, we take a look at the Steelers first injury report and how our list of 46 active players on Sunday may change as a result. Today\’s practice should be telling in that regard. We then take a glance around the league briefly discuss the Peyton Manning injury in Indy, the release of David Garrard by Jacksonville and the continued retirement of Carson Palmer in Cincinnati. We close be mentioning a few teams we think are over/underrated and give our picks for tonight\’s Green Bay-New Orleans season opener–as usual, we\’re on opposite sides.
We will be back on Friday with our Steelers-Ravens game breakdown, our picks for the week and our season projections.
