Season 2, Episode 17 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and I open with a closer look at the supposed chop blocks in the Steelers Ravens game that have been a hot topic as of late and we clarify the actual rule. We both agree that these were dangerous blocks and think the NFL needs to live up to their views on player safety and look closely at the linemen and these types of blocks. We then give our thoughts on the $15K fine Troy Polamalu received for his horse-collar tackle this past Sunday in addition.
Next we go full on and preview of the Steelers Seahawks game on both side of the ball after we knock out the Friday injury report. We are both pretty confident in a big win by the Steelers. We discuss how the Seahawks will likely try their best to establish the run, while the Steelers will likely do the same with Marcus Gilbert getting his first NFL start at right tackle.
We close with our weekly betting picks and give a few thoughts on the other games around the NFL in week 2.
We will be back on Monday to hopefully recap a big Steelers win!
