Season 2, Episode 24 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd is back with me today to do our normal preview of the upcoming Sunday game against the Houston Texans.
We lead off with the Steelers injury report and the speculation that practice squad tackle Trevis Turner could be promoted to the active roster this weekend. We discuss who the Steelers might release should that indeed be the case. Chris Carter? Chris Scott? We then discuss the recent $15K fine that James Farrior received for his hit on Kerry Collins this past Sunday and how the league seems to be fining for every personal foul thus far. Have they gone too far? Hear our thoughts on it.
We move on to our Steelers Texans game preview and discuss both sides of the ball for both teams. We even hit briefly on special teams and how Antonio Brown could be a huge factor once again. We talk about the awesome Texans offensive line and discuss how the Steelers need to attack the Texans defense on the ground this week with some success to set up play-action. How will the Steelers use Troy Polamalu this week? We discuss that as well.
After our game preview discussion we move on to our picks of all the week 4 games. I inform David about how “the man” has been kicking my ass so far through 3 weeks. Hopefully I can rebound this week. We leave our Steelers Texans prediction to the end and we are on opposite sides of opinion. Did the eternal optimist choose the Steelers to win?
