Jeff Reed Back In Pittsburgh, Friend Leaves Penguins Game On Flat Board

Former Steelers kicker Jeff Reed was back in Pittsburgh Friday and spotted down at the Steelers facility visiting a few of his former teammates earlier in the day. Gerry Dulac reported this afternoon that Reed was not in for a workout.

That is not where the Reed news ends today however as Reed went to the Penguins hockey game tonight and reportedly ended up having to leave early as a buddy he was with stood on a chair, fell off, knocked himself out and was taken out on a body board by medics. Reed reportedly left with him.

This news comes courtesy of @BillPeduto on Twitter and @PensU_Nicole has a picture of the buddy being taken out on the board below.

Some might call this a very weird night for Reed, but Reed likely just calls it another Friday night in Pittsburgh. I am pretty sure that all of the Sheetz® convenience stores have been alerted.

  • Carolinagirl4u

Y’all are so stupid! Leave JR alone and fix Heinz field! It sucks ass, like he said!

  • LMAO I loved the little quip about Sheetz at the end

I have a few friends that work at Sheetz and they thought it was hilarious when I showed them this!

  • I agree Carolinagirl, I remember Jeff reed’s field goals winning more than a few games his last few years here. You’ve got jokers on the team now like Rashard “The Conversationalist” (that’s what it says on his Twitter profile) Mendenhall, and James the overgrown baby Harrison that are ten times worse. And someone give Mike Wallace a lesson in public speaking
