Steelers Bengals Game Likely To Be Played In High Winds

According to the morning forecast on the Weather Channel website, today\’s game between the Steelers and Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium game could be played in very windy conditions. Winds during the game could be blowing 20 to 30 miles per hour with an occasional gusts up to 40 miles per hour. On top of the winds, it could also rain some.

The wind of course will play havoc with kickers, punters and passes of both Ben Roethlisberger and Andy Dalton, so the scoring could be low when you add in the fact that both teams have good defenses. The Steelers have relied heavily on the pass this year, but the weather could force them to run Rashard Mendenhall more today then they originally planned to. The Bengals will likely run Cedric Benson more as well and both teams will rely on shorter passes on obvious passing downs. Whoever runs better today and does not turn the ball over, will likely win this game.
