Steelers Bengals Week 13 Practice Injury ReportThe Steelers were back on the practice field Wednesday to begin getting ready to take on the Cincinnati Bengals for the second time this season Sunday after at Heinz Field. The first injury report of the week as been released today and it shows that both safety Troy Polamalu (head) and center Maurkice Pouncey (illness) both sat out out practice on Wednesday. Polamalu left the Sunday night game against the Chiefs early with a concussion and Pouncey exited early as well with a stomach virus. Polamalu did not talk to reporters today and Mike Tomlin said yesterday he was hopeful to have him available on Sunday. Also sitting out Wednesday was linebacker Chris Carter (hamstring) after he injured his hamstring again against the Chiefs. Carter is not expected to practice this week and will likely be ruled out on Friday. Linebacker LaMarr Woodley (hamstring) was a full participant in practice today and looks to be on track to return Sunday after a 3 game absence. Thursday could be the telling day with him. Linebacker Stevenson Sylvester (calf) practiced fully today and wide receiver Arnaz Battle (hamstring) and linebacker Larry Foote (hamstring) were limited on Wednesday. Both Sylvester and Battle missed the game Sunday night against the Chiefs. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (thumb) was not listed on the injury report on Wednesday.

For the Bengals on Wednesday, wide receiver Jerome Simpson (knee), running back Cedric Benson (foot), cornerback Nate Clements (not injury related), safety Chris Crocker (biceps), defensive end Carlos Dunlap (hamstring), cornerback Brandon Ghee (groin), defensive tackle Domata Peko (foot) and linebacker Dontay Moch (not injury related) all did not practice. Tight end Donald Lee (foot) and defensive tackle Pat Sims (ankle) were both limited on Wednesday.
