Steelers RB Baron Batch Back Running On Surgically Repaired Knee

There as been quite a bit of bad news as of late concerning the Steelers and injured players, but lost in the flurry of injury updates on linebackers LaMarr Woodley, James Farrior and James Harrison was the positive news that running back Baron Batch is back running again.

The Steelers 7th round draft pick from this past April posted an update on Twitter this morning saying that he is back running now and that it felt pretty good. Batch had surgery back in August after tearing the ACL in his left knee late in training camp. He was having a great rookie camp and was poised to make the 53 man roster before suffering the season ending injury. He was placed on injured reserve right before the regular season started.

Barring any sort of a setback in his rehab, Batch should be nearly 100% by the time the mini-camps roll around next spring. Good news indeed.
