Steelers Bengals Week 13 Offensive Participation Chart & Personnel

Below are the offensive personnel packages, play counts and participation chart for the Steelers week 13 win Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hines Ward saw 20 non-penalty play snaps this week and that is up from last week versus the Kansas City Chiefs. Rookie tight end Weslye Saunders also saw a good amount of snaps with 23 non-penalty plays logged. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, center Maurkice Pouncey and left tackle Max Starks were able to exit the game a bit early because of the blow-out. Right guard Ramon Foster played 31 snaps before exiting with his ankle injury.

Personnel group wise, we saw 4 plays with the 5 wide receiver grouping and all were used with an empty backfield. The one 14 personnel grouping was with Trai Essex in the game as a 4th tight end. Not counting the victory formation plays, the Steelers used two or more tight ends on 32 of 59 non-penalty plays against the Bengals.
