Steelers Browns Friday Injury Report Week 17 – Polamalu Probable, Woodley Doubtful

Steelers Browns Week 17 Practice Injury ReportThe Pittsburgh Steelers wrapped up their final practice preparations on Friday for their final regular season Sunday game against the Cleveland Browns on the road in Cleveland. The final injury report of the week is out and it shows that guard Doug Legursky (shoulder) and running back Mewelde Moore (knee) have both been ruled out for the game as expected. Legursky suffered a shoulder strain last week against the St. Louis Rams, while Moore is still recovering from an MCL knee sprain suffered in the Monday night game against the San Francisco 49ers. Linebacker LaMarr Woodley (hamstring) is listed doubtful and did not work on Friday after being limited on both Wednesday and Thursday. He said earlier in the week that he was not optimistic about playing Sunday at Cleveland. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (ankle), center Maurkice Pouncey (ankle), wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (foot), wide receiver Mike Wallace (ankle), linebacker James Harrison (neck) and safety Troy Polamalu (knee) all practiced fully on Friday and all are listed as probable on the final injury report. Polamalu had sat out on Wednesday and Thursday, but seems ready to go for the game as does Harrison, who sat out on Wednesday. Linebacker Chris Carter (hamstring) practiced fully for a third straight day on Friday, but is still listed as questionable.

For the Browns on Friday, quarterback Colt McCoy (concussion), wide receiver Jordan Norwood (concussion) and tackle Tony Pashos (illness) have all been ruled out for the game on Sunday. Browns head coach Pat Shurmur said that Artis Hicks will start at right tackle with Pashos out and added that Oniel Cousins and John Greco could see some playing time as well. Linebacker Kaluka Maiava (hand) and defensive lineman Scott Paxson (hand, calf) are both listed as questionable. Wide receiver Josh Cribbs (groin), running back Peyton Hillis (elbow), guard Shawn Lauvao (ankle), fullback Owen Marecic (ankle), wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi (foot), cornerback Dimitri Patterson (hand) and linebacker Quinton Spears (concussion) are all listed as probable.
