Steelers Browns Week 14 Practice Injury Report – Tuesday – Woodley & Sanders Sit

Steelers Browns Week 14 Practice Injury ReportThe Pittsburgh Steelers hit the practice field Tuesday for the first time this week in preparation for the week 14 Thursday night game at Heinz Field against the Cleveland Browns. The Tuesday practice was a walk-through and the team was not in pads today. The injury report is now out and it shows linebacker LaMarr Woodley (hamstring), wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (foot), running back Jonathan Dwyer (foot), nose tackle Chris Hoke (neck) and linebacker Chris Carter (hamstring) all sat out today. Offensive coordinator Bruce Arians said earlier in the day that Sanders will likely sit out against the Browns to rest his knee. Dwyer, Hoke and Carter will all be out this week. Wide receiver Arnaz Battle (hamstring) was limited and he too will likely sit out Thursday night. Safety Ryan Clark (shoulder), wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (knee), linebacker James Farrior (thumb), linebacker Larry Foote (hamstring), guard Ramon Foster (ankle), linebacker James Harrison (back), running back Rashard Mendenhall (back), tight end Heath Miller (ankle), running back Mewelde Moore (hamstring), safety Ryan Mundy (neck), safety Troy Polamalu (knee), center Maurkice Pouncey (ankle), running back Isaac Redman (ankle), quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (thumb) and linebacker Stevenson Sylvester (knee) all worked fully today. Foote and Foster both appear to be on course to play as Foote sat out last week against the Cincinnati Bengals and Foster left that game with a lower left ankle injury.

For the Browns on Tuesday, linebacker Chris Gocong (hip), running back Montario Hardesty (calf), quarterback Colt McCoy (knee) and defensive end Jayme Mitchell (ankle) all participated fully. Safety Mike Adams (shoulder), running back Peyton Hillis (hip) and offensive lineman Tony Pashos (ankle) were all limited. Linebacker Quinton Spears (hamstring) and safety T.J. Ward (foot) sat out today and have already been ruled out for the game Thursday night.
