Mike Tomlin Interviewed Todd Haley Today For Steelers Offensive Coordinator Position

Jason La Canfora reported last night that Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was looking into former Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley as a possible candidate for the open offensive coordinator position and now we have confirmation from Bob Labriola that Tomlin interviewed Haley today at the team’s practice facility.

Haley, the son of former Steelers Director of Player Personnel Dick Haley, was hired to be the Chiefs head coach in 2009 and was fired late this past season. Prior to coaching the Chiefs, Haley was the offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals under former Steelers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt. Haley got his start in coaching with the New York Jets as their wide receivers coach in 1999 and has since coached on the staffs of the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys before going to Arizona.
