Wild Card Round Picks

New Orleans Saints 30 San Francisco 49ers 17, 1:00 p.m. Saints -3½

The 49ers rely on other teams beating themselves and this is one thing that Drew Brees will not do. The 49ers offense can not score at will and this one should not be close.

New England Patriots 34 Denver Broncos 24, 8:00 p.m. Broncos +13½

The Patriots will not let this one be within Tim Tebow distance in the 4th quarter. They will give up a lot of yards on the ground, but the Broncos will give up more in the air. If the Broncos win this I might very well buy a Tebow jersey.

Houston Texans 22 Baltimore Ravens 20, 1:00 p.m. Texans +7.5

I have been on the Texans all season long and I am not going to abandon them now. Their defense is great and if they can control Ray Rice, they could win this game late with a field goal. If only they still had Matt Schaub.

Green Bay Packers 31 New York Giants 23, 4:30 p.m. Packers -7½

The Packers offense is just more efficient than the Giants. The Giants will try to slow the game down by running the ball but will be forced out of that plan when the Packers get up 14 points on them. That is when Eli Manning will press and a turnover or two happens.
