Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl, who lost a friendly wager with Denver Mayor Michael Hancock, made good on the bet today by wearing a Tim Tebow #15 jersey and doing the Tebow pose with the city of Pittsburgh as a backdrop. The photo below is courtesy of Lauren Daley and shows Ravenstahl making good following the Pittsburgh Steelers 29-23 overtime loss to the Denver Broncos this past Sunday in the AFC Wild Card game.
Had the Steelers won, Hancock would have had to have worn a Steelers jersey and twirl a Terrible Towel during one of his public events. Ravenstahl said after the loss, “It\’s certainly not something I\’m looking forward to, however, we\’re good sports here in Pittsburgh, and I want to congratulate Denver on a great win.”
The Tebow pose was done at Roberto Clemente Memorial Park on the North Shore this morning.
