Steelers Broncos Wednesday Injury Report AFC Wild Card Week – Polamalu, Harrison & Keisel Sit

Steelers Browns Wednesday AFC Wild Card Practice Injury ReportThe Pittsburgh Steelers were back on practice field Wednesday getting ready to take on the Denver Broncos this coming Sunday in one of the two AFC wild card games. Despite finishing 12-4 on the season the Steelers must travel to Denver who won the AFC West with an 8-8 record as the Steelers earned the 5th seed because they did not win the AFC North.

The first injury report of the week is now out and it shows that cornerback Cortez Allen (shoulder), running back Mewelde Moore (knee), linebacker James Harrison (toe) defensive end Brett Keisel (groin), safety Troy Polamalu (calf) did not practice today. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (ankle) and center Maurice Pouncey (ankle) were both limited today while linebacker LaMarr Woodley (hamstring) and guard Doug Legursky (shoulder) practiced fully. Not listed on the Wednesday injury report were cornerback Keenan Lewis (hamstring) and tight end David Johnson (elbow), both were dinged up in the game Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. Both Allen and Moore are not expected to play Sunday against the Broncos. Legursky will reportedly be back this week and will start at left guard.

For the Broncos on Wednesday, safety Brian Dawkins (neck), fullback Spencer Larsen (knee) and wide receiver Eddie Royal (toe) all sat out on Wednesday. Safety David Bruton (achilles) was limited and linebacker Von Miller (thumb) practiced fully on Wednesday.
