  • Robhenderson

  • Sonny

    nix to raiders

  • Endicott_Seth

    minnifield please

  • Ross

I don’t understand why they didn’t draft nix with one of 4 7th rd picks

  • Endicott_seth

    minnifield burfict

  • Geshck

I think they should give a chance to Patrick Fuller and one of the 2 QB left, Kellen Moore or Keenum, Batch will be gone next year, Leftwich is not our future QB, they should try with one of this 2 QB, I think Big ben should be a good mentor

  • PoKey21

Connor Dixon QB? The kid is a WR. Started the first 7 games his junior year at QB. Thats it, after that he played his senior season at WR. He even got a 6th year of eligibilty, i think he is around 26 years old. From South Park HS. He is huge 6’5 212lbs. I think he would be more of a WR, redzone threat. If we wanted a QB we should have used one of our 4 7th round picks on Dan Persa or Kellen Moore.

  • Shannon Stephenson

Austin Davis is a good QB prospect…not sure if he is still out there

  • Jprankster2005

Hopefully the Kicker can win the spot and get Suisham outta here…… And the punter to push Kapinos…….

  • Jprankster2005

They should of drafted Burfict with one of there 4 7th rounders he was 3rd round grade and went undrafted to bengals. They took chances on Adams and Rainey with problems hell why not throw a good ILB in there….. He would of pushed to be atleast a backup……. But o well

  • Jprankster2005

Moore to Lions, Keenum to Texans

  • Jprankster2005

    Now he ain’t

  • Bleebo77

    Minnifield to Skins

  • Bleebo77

    Burfict to BENGALS!

  • Shannon Stephenson

  • asdf

Lol great typo above. I noticed Terry Carter, CB. “Wow he’s a tall corner” Checked out his 40 time. 5.49 40? WTF? Noticed weight…took me a minute to figure out

  • Bleebo77

Still looking for the landing place for a few players: Davon Harris (USC), Linthicum (Michigan State), Chase Ford (Miami), Jeremy Jones (Wayne State), Logan Harrell (Fresno), Fangupo (BYU), Brian McNally (New Hampshire), K. Anderson (Furman), J. Haulcy-Bateman (Cal-Lutheran), C. Anunoby (Morehouse), S. Solomon (Rice), D. Johnson (Bowie State)

  • sweetleb

is stapleton any relation to the guard from our last superbowl team

  • SteelersDepot

    Yes he isthe brother

  • Asmitty56

Terry Carter CB- weight 302. I hope that is a misprint?

  • Endicott_seth

    leonard johnson?

  • Jec3179

The plackicker Ressel and punter Butler look to be very good prospects I definitely like those pickups.

  • Shannon Stephenson

I saw on another site that we signed Alex Tanney QB from Monmouth…any word Dave? I like the kid and he was on my UDFA list of guys to look at

  • Moses

    Marquis Maze?

    I don’t understand why he wasn’t drafted.

    Was that expected?

  • Daveb1952

Oh, we got to sign that kid from Conneticut, pair him with that kid we drafted from Washington, then listen for the broadcasters to blow up……

  • Dave

    They liked Beachum better?

  • PoKey21

The steelers seriously need to look into ILB Noah Keller and WR Lavonte Brazil both out of Ohio University. I think Keller is a much better prospect at ILB than Spence is. And Brazil has 4.4 40 speed and could be a great possession receiver. Also Dan Persa or GJ Kinne would be nice to have a young smart QB in the lineup.

  • No clue at all why Leonard Johnson wasn’t drafted.
He’s the guy that gave Justin Blackmon all he wanted in Iowa State’s BIG upset win over Oklahoma State. Whoever gets him as a UDFA is getting a massive steal.

  • Brazil was drafted by Indy. No idea on the other Ohio guy though. He wasn’t drafted, but I’m not sure if he’s been signed by anyone yet.

  • He had a 7th-UDFA grade on him. No real shock.

  • tricitysteel

Does anyone know where Chris Polk went?

  • James

I think Beachum can long snap as well. Only advantage I see as I think Nix is the better guard.

  • James

1 of the best return men in the draft IMO

  • James

  • JMcNeill

    Maze to the steelers

  • Feasantboy13

The Bucs got him !!!! Steelers could have used a corner like him.

  • Jprankster2005

    I counted 13 plus the 9 in the draft ain’t that 92?

  • SteelSpine

This was a 1-person draft (but what a great pick that was as the draft gods looked down to have DeCastro still available). None of our draft picks other than DeCastro will be a starter even in the next 3 seasons other than Almada starting in 2013. Our other draft picks are offensive line bums who wont make it as a starter for any team ever, & a bunch of special team prospects. We drafted a bunch of fine special teams prospects, but good special teamers can be gotten on the street dumped from other teams.

  • kerror

    Dominique Davis, any chance?

    Is able to develope to a starter – ther’s a chance…
He can throw and he can run, he just isn’t very patiened in the pocket and don’t read so well..

  • SteelersDepot

there will be corresponding moves on Monday once the names are inked.

  • Bleebo77

    D. Davis to ATL

  • Bleebo77

Where did Austin Davis land? I can’t find him listed with any team…

  • Bleebo77

  • Timothy

I want to see them grab Igbinosun….if for no other reason – just to hear all the TV analysts trip on their tongues trying to pronounce his frickin’ name…..and to see what nick name the Steeler Fans will christen him with,,,,,seriously though, seems like a good & talented kid for his level.

  • Shannon Stephenson

cant remeber but i did see he was taken

  • Daveb1952

And paring him with that somoan form Washington….. NFL broadcasters would go on strike for hazzard pay. Although, they may get some coaching from Hockey play by play announcers, Ig bin o sun, crosses the blue line with the puck…he shoots and scores!!!

@ 288LBS, chances are slim ( @ 288 he is slim for a 3-4 DE) he will make the squad. JMO

  • Reader783

DeCastro starts; Mike Adams will start over Colon; Sean Spence we will see; Alameda will start; Rainey could get some PT; and honestly name me all the 7th round picks that start their rookie season. Don’t be a pessimist. We drafted 3 starters in 4 rounds. Not too bad

  • Reader783
  • Robhenderson

    Ryan Lee, Guard from Furman
    6’3, 310, 40 reps on the bench, 5.0 in the 40
Just watched his highlights and he looks like a Steal. He pulls, gets to second level and is versatile.

  • Robhenderson

    ok that would do it.

  • kerror

Woah, i’m very excited that we was able to land marquis maze :O

  • JoeT

Steelers should check out Rich Rossi WR Sacred Heart University – 6’2″ 220 4.42 – 27 reps excellent possession middle of the field receiver

  • Steelersownage

Adrian Robinson from temple could be a sleeper at the OLB spot, some extra depth would be nice there with the age and I watched this kid tear it up at temple from the DE spot. Could be a nice steal in UDFA
