The Terrible Podcast – Taliking Draft With Dave-Te\’ Thomas Episode

Steelers PodcastSeason 2, Episode 97 of The Terrible Podcast is up and with David Todd start of by talking about the recent re-signing of Charlie Batch and what it means go forward. We are both in the opinion that Byron Leftwich will not be far behind him.

With Tuesday being the release of Steelers 2012 schedule, we discuss a few things in regards to that. Did Weslye Saunders really grow an inch over the course of a year? He says he did and we talk briefly about that. Are the defensive tackle and wide receiver classes the deepest this year in the draft? We talk briefly about it. What about the new kickoff rule that is being bounced around? We discuss that as well.

In part two you need to make sure your seat belt is buckled as the always entertaining Dave-Te\’ Thomas is back again on the podcast to talk NFL draft as it relates to the Steelers. Thomas is as witty as they come and always moves fast. We give him one name to discuss and he gives us four more back. If you have ever heard an interview with Dave-Te\’, you know what to expect. If you haven\’t, well, you will just have to listen. Outside of draft talk he gives us his thoughts on Jason Worilds, and it might surprise you as to what he thinks could be in store for him in 2012. He certainly is passionate about what he does and goes against the grain on a few of the players we talk about.

Make sure to listen at the end of the interview as Dave-Te\’ has a great free offer for all that listen to this podcast. You might not agree with all of his analysis, but he certainly is fun to have on the podcast. He has become a yearly tradition now for us just before the draft. We hope you enjoy him.

I like Te’Thomas’s outlook on the Steelers’ Draft. Gotta agree with him on the 2 QBs, especially Austin Davis as a late round pick….

Very interesting stuff about Jason Worilds. First I’ve heard of a possible move to ILB. Can anyone give verification if this is true? Has he been told by the Steelers that he will move to ILB?

Dave certainly has strong opinions – wow! I just don’t know what to think about Brockers. Can he really be a NT? Where would the Steelers play him?

In the first round, sounds like Te’Thomas is down on Hightower, Adams, Martin and Fleener and likes Cordy Glenn and even Lavonte David (if Brockers is gone).

    Dave:
I e-mailed Dave-Te’ Thomas about his podcast promise to send his scouting report to anyone who contacted him at Scouting Services. He replied back that you will be posting his report on your web site instead. However, I don’t see it located here.
