Season 2, Episode 123 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and get right into talking about the recent salary cap numbers offered up on NFL.com recently and how they could be deceiving if they do not include the veteran salary cap credits that the Pittsburgh Steelers will surely use again this year.
We move on to discuss the John Clayton “Theory of 150” as it relates to offensive lines. The offensive line of Baltimore Ravens certainly fit that bill, but David is not a big fan of it. We move on to also take a look at the offensive lines of both the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns as well in this episode.
Ron Jaworski has been ranking the quarterbacks the last several weeks so David and I discuss the rankings of Eli Manning, Joe Flacco and Ben Roethlisberger. We look specifically at the comments made by Jaworski concerning arm strength as well.
The NFL has announced that they will let stadium crowds see the same replays as officials do and that sparks a good conversation between the two of us as to why the league is putting so much emphasis on enhancing the experience at each game. Long time coming or are more fans choosing to stay at home now because of what television now offers?
