Steelers Sign CB Josh Victorian, Waive CB Terry Carter Injured

The Pittsburgh Steelers made a roster move on Friday as cornerback Terry Carter was placed on the waived/injured list presumably because of a hamstring injury that he suffered early in the week. To take his place on the 90 man roster the Steelers signed free agent cornerback Josh Victorian out of Louisiana Tech.

Victorian, who reportedly measured in at 5-10, 190-pounds, went to training camp last year with Baltimore Ravens after signing as an undrafted rookie free agent. Following his release, Victorian spent time on the practice squad of the New England Patriots. He was with the New Orleans Saints this offseason.

At his pro day back in 2011 Victorian ran a 40 time of 4.56 and completed 22 reps on the bench 22. He registered a 34 inch vertical and a 9\’06” broad jump to go along with a short shuttle time of 4.02.

Carter was signed as an undrafted free agent this past offseason. He too went to school at Louisiana Tech.
