The Pittsburgh Steelers training camp practices are starting to wind down as Friday is when camp breaks at Latrobe. On this Tuesday special edition of The Terrible Podcast I am once again joined by Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and he fills us in on the happenings Tuesday.
We start off talking about the news that he broke this morning that Max Starks was being removed from the PUP list today. Mark gives his opinion on when he thinks we will finally see Starks play in the preseason. We also discuss the recent signings of both Justin Peelle and Jason Ford and what it means to the roster battles going forward.
Walter McFadden saw quite a few snaps on Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles at the outside cornerback spot, so I ask Mark if he has a legitimate shot at making the 53 man roster or if Terrence Frederick is still the odds on favorite to win the 5th cornerback spot. I also see how many safeties that Mark thinks the Steelers will keep to start the season and what he thinks about the battle between Brandon Johnson and Stevenson Sylvester so far. Could Jason Worilds possibly start the season on the PUP list? I ask Mark what he knows about his current injury situation.
We wrap things up by having Mark fill us in on a few things that caught his eye during the Tuesday practice.
Please make sure you are following Mark on Twitter at @MarkKaboly_Trib and once again we are thankful that he had time for an evening interview.
