Raiders Friday Injury Report – Barnes & Spencer Out – McClain Questionable
The Friday injury report for the Oakland Raiders is now out and it shows that tackle Khalif Barnes (groin) and cornerback Shawntae Spencer (foot) both sat out on Friday as expected and are listed as out for the game Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Second-year tackle Willie Smith reportedly has taken the majority of reps in place of Barnes during practice with Tony Bergstrom also getting work at the right tackle spot. Free safety Michael Huff has been splitting time at safety and cornerback this week due to all of the injuries the Raiders have suffered.
Running back Mike Goodson (hamstring) was added to the Friday injury report as questionable after he failed to practice. Tight end David Ausberry (shoulder), cornerback Coye Francies (concussion), kicker Sebastian Janikowski (left groin), running back Taiwan Jones (ribs), linebacker Rolando McClain (concussion, ankle), center Alex Parsons (shoulder) and defensive tackle Richard Seymour (knee) were all limited on Friday and all are listed as questionable on the injury report.
Wide Receiver Juron Criner (ankle) practiced fully for a third straight day and is listed as probable.
