Redskins Injury Report: LB London Fletcher Remains Sidelined

The Thursday injury report of the week for the Washington Redskins is now out as they prepare to play the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday at Heinz Field.

Things are not looking good for linebacker London Fletcher (hamstring, head) as he was forced to sit out practice again on Thursday. The Redskins linebacker has played in 231 straight games. But his streak appears to now be in serious jeopardy after he suffered a hamstring injury last Sunday

As expected, wide receiver Pierre Garcon (foot) sat out again on Thursday and he told the media that he has a torn ligament in his right foot that could require surgery. He will be ruled out on Friday.

Safety Brandon Meriweather (knee) sat out Thursday after being limited on Wednesday That is never a good sign. Cornerback David Jones (achilles) practiced fully on Thursday after being limited Wednesday and appears to be on track to suit up.

Cornerback Cedric Griffin (hamstring), punter Saverio Rocca (right knee), cornerback Josh Wilson (shoulder), defensive end Doug Worthington (calf), and running back Darrel Young (hamstring) all practiced fully on for a second consecutive day.

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.
