Report: Redman Says He Might Play Sunday After Practicing Again On Friday

We are still waiting on the final injury report of the week for the Pittsburgh Steelers as they finish preparations for their Sunday game at Heinz Field against the Washington Redskins, but Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports via Twitter that running back Isaac Redman (ankle) participated today and said that he felt so good that he might play Sunday.

Redman was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday is always a key day for deciding who might get a helmet on gameday. That being said, I would still be surprised if Jonathan Dwyer doesn\’t start the game at running back even if Redman does wind up dressing for the game.

Redman suffered his ankle injury in the loss to the Tennessee Titans back in week 6 and it forced him to sit out last Sunday night against the Cincinnati Bengals as a result.

Stay tuned for the Friday injury report as it should clear up the status of running back Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles), who is unlikely to play Sunday after sitting out both Wednesday and Thursday.
