Report: Titans QB Jake Locker Will Not Play Thursday Night Against Steelers

Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker will not play Thursday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to Terry McCormick via Twitter.

The second year quarterback will miss his second straight game with a dislocated left shoulder that he suffered against Houston Texas back in week 4.

With Locker out it, veteran quarterback Matt Hasselbeck will make his second start. Hasselbeck was 26-of-43 passing for 200 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception in the Titans 30-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

The Steelers last faced Hasselbeck just lat season in week 5 at Heinz Field and the quarterback finished the game 29-of-49 passing for 262 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. The Steelers defense was able sack Hasselbeck 3 times in the 38-17 Steelers win.

The Titans also will be without backup running back Javon Ringer as he is expected to miss four to six weeks after spraining his left knee against the Vikings.
