Report: Antonio Brown Could Miss A Few Games

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown left Sunday\’s game against the New York Giants with a high ankle sprain. After the game, Brown claimed that the injury wasn\’t serious.

Brown, who has already been ruled out for the Monday night game against the Kansas City Chiefs, may miss a few more games in addition, according to a report by Pro Football Talk.

With Brown down, veteran Jerricho Cotchery will step in as the Steelers third receiver.

The Steelers have not yet promoted David Gilreath from the practice squad, but that move is expected to take place on Sunday.

Emmanuel Sanders is now slated to start opposite Mike Wallace this week at home against the Chiefs on Monday night.

The Steelers have won their last 14 games at home on Monday Night Football.

Florio at it again with misinformation, look for Brown Monday nite

Brown has been ruled out for Monday but I’m thinking he will be back for Baltimore barring any unforseen complications.

You do have to admit that Florio is no Sherlock Holmes.. I also agree he’ll be back next Sunday

High ankle sprains can be tricky and if not taken care of could bother him the rest of the year…it maybe a few weeks

  • Jason White

Yeah I said last Sunday that he’d miss this game so he could get ready for Baltimore. I expect the run game to be a big feature going forward so it will take the pressure off the passing game. I’m fully confident in Sanders and Cotchery to pick up where they left off against the Giants.

Um, the SteelersDepot article right here says “Brown has already been ruled out of Monday Night’s game”. Foot in mouth.
