Steelers Injury Report: Antonio Brown Questionable, Troy Polamalu Doubtful

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin updated the health of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger along with the rest of the team during his Tuesday press conference.

Tomlin said that Roethlisberger has suffered a SC sprain to the right shoulder joint, which is known medically as a Sternoclavicular joint injury. Tomlin termed Roethlisberger as questionable this week as far as being able to participate. Tomlin went on to say that the quarterback is undergoing more evaluation right now.

Wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) is still rehabbing his left high ankle sprain that he suffered in the game against the New York Giants and he will be questionable for the Sunday night game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle) and linebacker Stevenson Sylvester (hamstring) were also termed questionable for this week. Tomlin did note that Gilbert has started his preliminary field work last week.

Safety Troy Polamalu (calf) was termed as doubtful for the Ravens game as he continues to rehab his calf injury.

Running back Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) is getting significant work in practice now as he looks to return from his strained Achilles injury. Tomlin termed Mendenhall as questionable for this week.

Safety Ryan Clark (concussion) is continuing his mandatory concussion testing, but appears to be OK right now.
