Steelers Injury Report: Brown, Polamalu, Gilbert & Roethlisberger Officialy Out

The Pittsburgh Steelers wrapped up practice preparations on Friday for their Sunday night game at Heinz Field against the Baltimore Ravens and the final injury report of the week is now out.

As expected, wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle), tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle), safety Troy Polamalu (calf), and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (right shoulder) have all been ruled out for the game.

Linebacker Stevenson Sylvester (hamstring) is listed as questionable. With the activation of practice squad linebacker Marshall McFadden to the 53 man roster on Wednesday, there is a chance that Sylvester might be one of the seven inactive players for the game if he is not 100%.

Cornerback Curtis Brown (quad), safety Ryan Clark (concussion), defensive end Brett Keisel (shoulder), running back Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles), tackle Max Starks (ankle), and cornerback Ike Taylor (illness) are all listed as probable after all practiced fully again on Friday.

Mendenhall is expected to start at running back Sunday night and it will be his first game back since injuring his Achilles in the Week 5 game against the Tennessee Titans. The Steelers are also expected to dress both Isaac Redman and Jonathan Dwyer in addition to Baron Batch and Chris Rainey, so Mendenhall might be limited snap wise in his first game back in action.
