Bengals Injury Report: T Andre Smith Added Thursday With A Foot Injury

The Cincinnati Bengals remain a very healthy team as they head into their game this Sunday at Heinz Field against the Pittsburgh Steelers and their Thursday injury report reflects it.

Cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick (head) was unable to practice on Thursday after practicing fully on Wednesday and the word is that he suffered a setback with his concussion that forced him to miss the last two games. Right now he is not expected to play Sunday in Pittsburgh.

Kicker Mike Nugent (right calf) is still unable to practice as well so he will be sidelined once again for the Bengals. That means that Josh Brown will continue to handle the kicking duties this week against the Steelers.

Running back Cedric Peerman (ankle) was limited for a second straight day on Thursday and his status for Sunday remains up in the air at this time. Peerman has missed the last two weeks with his ankle so odds are he will sit out a third straight game.

Defensive end Carlos Dunlap (illness) and tackle Andrew Whitworth (head) both practiced fully on Thursday and both are expected to play Sunday against the Steelers. Dunlap had sat out the Wednesday practice while Whitworth had been limited.

The Bengals did have one new edition to their injury report on Thursday as tackle Andre Smith (foot) was added with a foot injury after only being able to practice on a limited basis. Smith has dealt with foot injuries throughout most of his career, so his status needs to be paid close attention to on Friday. The Bengals starting right tackle has not missed a game this season and has only missed two offensive snaps in total.
