Steelers Injury Report: Ike Taylor Needs MRI On Ankle/Lower Leg

The Pittsburgh Steelers knocked off the Baltimore Ravens 23-20 Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium and head coach Mike Tomlin updated the injury situation following the game.

Tomlin said cornerback Ike Taylor, who left the game during the first defensive series, suffered a lower right ankle or leg injury and will need an MRI. Tomlin also said that wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders suffered a shoulder joint sprain, but that he was able to return to finish the game. Fullback Will Johnson might have suffered a concussion in the win in addition. Outside of those three injuries Tomlin called the rest bumps and bruises.

Starting left guard Willie Colon was active for the game, but center Maurkice Pouncey started in his place. Injured inactive players Sunday were quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, quarterback Byron Leftwich, linebacker LaMarr Woodley, tackle Mike Adams, and wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery.
