Steelers Injury Report: LaMarr Woodley Works Fully; Cortez Allen, Keenan Lewis Sidelined
The Pittsburgh Steelers started their practice preparations on Wednesday for their Sunday road game against the Dallas Cowboys and the first injury report is now out.
As expected, cornerback Ike Taylor (ankle), tackle Mike Adams (ankle), and guard Willie Colon (knee) did not practice and all three have already been ruled out for the game. With Colon out, Ramon Foster will shift over to left guard and rookie David DeCastro will make his first career start at right guard.
Also not practicing on Wednesday were safety Troy Polamalu (not injury related), linebacker James Harrison (illness), cornerback Cortez Allen (groin), cornerback Keenan Lewis (hip) and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (shoulder). Both Allen and Sanders could be the key names to watch as the week progresses.
Linebacker LaMarr Woodley (ankle) practiced fully on Wednesday and is on schedule to play after sitting out the last two games with an ankle sprain.
Running back Rashard Mendenhall was also not present after being suspended for one week for conduct detrimental to the team.
