Steelers Injury Report: Roethlisberger Practices Fully, Brown, Sanders & Wallace Rest

The Pittsburgh Steelers were back on the practice field on Wednesday as they prepare to host the San Diego Chargers Sunday at Heinz Field and the first injury report of the week is now out.

As reported previously, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (rib, shoulder) looked good on Wednesday and the signs are pointing to him being able to start Sunday as long as his body responds well the rest of the week. Roethlisberger is listed as practicing fully on Wednesday just the same.

Not practicing on Wednesday were wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle), tackle Willie Colon (knee), safety Ryan Clark (hip), wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (shoulder), safety Troy Polamalu (not injury related), linebacker LaMarr Woodley (ankle), and wide receiver Mike Wallace (knee). None of those players listed should be a surprise as head coach Mike Tomlin said during his Tuesday press conference that those specific players could be limited at the start of the week. Both Woodley and Colon are the only two players that should be considered as questionable for Sunday at this time as the others are expected to be ready to play come Sunday.

Cornerback Ike Taylor (ankle) and tackle Mike Adams (ankle) both sat out on Wednesday and both have already been ruled out for the week.

Practicing fully on Wednesday were wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (ribs), fullback Will Johnson (concussion), and quarterback Byron Leftwich (rib).
