Steelers Versus Cowboys Projected Inactive List – Week 15

The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Dallas Cowboys Sunday and here is what the inactive list will most likely look like when it is released 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

3 of the 7 names on the list this week will be inactive this week because those players were ruled out for the game due to injuries on the Friday injury report.

Ike Taylor – Taylor will miss his second consecutive game with a fractured right ankle suffered early in the win over the Baltimore Ravens. Taylor spoke this past week to the media and said that while the healing process is going fast, he doesn\’t know for sure when he will be able to return. The injury was first termed as a “couple of weeks”, but it wouldn\’t be surprising if Taylor wasn\’t ready until the playoffs, assuming the Steelers make it that far.

Mike Adams – Adams will miss his third straight game with an ankle injury suffered in the loss to the Cleveland Browns. The hope is that Adams will be back next week for the crucial game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Willie Colon – Colon underwent surgery on Monday to repair his left knee that he injured against the Chargers. Colon was already having issues with the knee leading up to the game after getting hit low in the first game against the Ravens. Tomlin said on Tues day that they will wait to see how the guard comes out of surgery until they make a decision on whether or not to place him on injured reserve.

Cortez Allen – Allen suffered a groin injury in the loss last week to the San Diego Chargers. The injury was first termed a hip flexor by head coach Mike Tomlin in his press conference, but Allen showed up as not practicing all week on the injury report because of a groin injury. Allen was listed as doubtful on the injury report and is expected to be one of the inactives.

Byron Leftwich – Leftwich is back practicing fully after injuring ribs in the loss to the Ravens several weeks ago, but the word is that Charlie Batch has overtaken him now on the depth chart. Leftwich is expected to be inactive today.

Adrian Robinson – Running back Baron Batch was signed off of the practice squad this week to fill the spot of the suspended Rashard Mendenhall and that should allow for him to dress and contribute on special teams as a result. With linebacker LaMarr Woodley back in the lineup the Steelers will likely sit one of the backups and I am guessing it will be Robinson.

Al Woods – Woods didn\’t dress week last week for the first time this season. The Steelers seem poised to dress all five receivers again for a second week in a row so it could result in Woods being down once again as a result.
