Season 3, Episode 54 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I get right to looking at the health of the Pittsburgh Steelers heading into their road game Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys and speculate what the upcoming Friday injury report might look like. With Cortez Allen likely to be out we talk about the young cornerbacks that will need to step up and we both agree that we like what little we have seen so far from Josh Victorian, who figures to get extended playing time against the Cowboys. David and I talk about how injuries seem to have hit the Steelers in bunches at various positions this year with the latest bunch being the cornerback position.
David an I mop up some loose ends from the loss to the San Diego Chargers as far as the play of the offensive line went and how the Chargers did a great job of disguising where the pressure was coming from. After that we get into previewing the Sunday game against the Cowboys on both sides of the ball and what we feel the Steelers must do in order to come away with the win. Can the defense control Jason Witten and the injured Dez Bryant in this game? How susceptible will the Cowboys be to the Steelers right handed running game? We discuss those talking points plus much, much more as we look forward to Sunday.
It is of course Friday so that means we talk about the other happenings around the NFL and that includes us going game by game and making are weekly picks against the spread. We close the show by getting to a few reader emails.
