Steelers Sign CB Justin King To A One-Year Contract

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed cornerback Justin King to a one-year contract on Wednesday, according to Bob Labriola on Twitter.

King ended the season on the Steelers 53 man roster after being signed in the middle of December after DeMarcus Van Dyke suffered a shoulder injury that would end his season.

King is a Pittsburgh native and a graduate of Gateway High and was originally drafted in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams after playing his college ball at Penn State.

King made 19 starts in 35 games played in during his first three years of his career with the Rams. He then spent five weeks with the Indianapolis Colts early on in the 2012 season before being waived following Week 5.

King did not dress for the two games that he was on the roster with the Steelers.
