Steelers Sign WR Kashif Moore To A Reserve/Future Contract

The Pittsburgh Steelers added another player to their offseason roster on Monday as it was announced that wide receiver Kashif Moore has been signed to a reserve/future contract for the 2013 season.

Moore was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cincinnati Bengals out of University of Connecticut following the 2012 draft. The Bengals, however, released him after training camp and just prior to the start of the 2012 season. Moore then spent parts of the 2012 regular season on the practice squads of the Houston Texans, San Diego Chargers and Indianapolis Colts.

Moore, who played in 50 of possible 51 games over his four seasons (2008-11) at Connecticut, with 32 starts, totaled 126 catches, 1699 receiving yards (13.5 average) and 13 receiving touchdowns. He measured in at the NFL combine last February at 5091 and 180 pounds and clocked a 4.42 time in the 40-yard dash, and recorded a 43.5-inch vertical leap.

Below are some video highlights of Moore along with his combine numbers.
