Steelers Free Agent S Will Allen To Visit Cowboys On Monday

Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas reports on Sunday that the Dallas Cowboys will host Pittsburgh Steelers free agent safety Will Allen on Monday for a visit.

Allen started seven games for the Steelers in 2012 while starter Troy Polamalu was sidelined with his calf injury. In just over 430 snaps played on defense, Allen registered 34 total tackles, 3 defensed passes and forced one fumble.

Allen has spent the last three seasons in Pittsburgh after playing the first six with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He will turn 31 later in the offseason and has built a reputation as being a strong special teams contributor over the course of his career.
