Steelers Signing QB Bruce Gradkowski To Three Year Contract

The Pittsburgh Steelers added another quarterback to their roster on Wednesday as Adam Schefter of ESPN reports via Twitter that Bruce Gradkowski has agreed to a three-year deal.

Gradkowski, a Seton-La Salle High School graduate, had been the backup quarterback with the Cincinnati Bengals the last two seasons and will now likely back up Ben Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh.

The signing of Gradkowski now means that there is a chance that both Charlie Batch and Byron Leftwich might not return next year depending on what happens in the draft. If one of the two were to return to be the number three on the depth chart, odds are it would be Batch.

Gradkowski has a career 52.9 completion percentage in seven seasons and has thrown 21 touchdowns versus 24 interceptions. He has started 20 games since being drafted in the sixth round of the 2006 draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
