Season 3, Episode 87 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I talk about Baltimore Ravens signing of outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil to help ease the loss of Paul Kruger. Was this a solid move? In addition to that, former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison no longer appears to be on the Ravens radar now that they have signed the former Bronco. What does this mean for Harrison moving forward, and is there a chance that he returns to the Steelers at some point during the offseason? We give you our thoughts.
Veteran safety Will Allen is scheduled to meet with the Dallas Cowboys on Monday, so David and I take a look at the Steelers depth at that safety position as we sit roughly one month out from the 2013 NFL draft. Also discussed is the pro day last week of Georgia linebacker Jarvis Jones. Is Jones a slam dunk for the Steelers at 17 if he indeed falls that far?
The name of quarterback Brian Hoyer surfaced again this past week, so David and I look back at the dynamics that led to his release. Did the Steelers really want him as much as members of the media claim that they did? Speaking of quarterbacks, the Steelers will be present later on this week at the Tulane pro day to observe quarterback Ryan Griffin, who could potentially be a late round draft target.
David and I also discuss the wide receiver depth a little bit and mix in several other talking points in addition to the ones listed above.
