Season 3, Episode 88 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I talk about safety James Sanders and running back Ahmad Bradshaw having visits Thursday with the Pittsburgh Steelers. We also talk about safety Will Allen signing with the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday and what it means to the depth of the position right now.
The Baltimore Ravens continue to fill their holes by signing safety Michael Huff and this leads to a discussion about comparing Ozzie Newsome to Kevin Colbert after the 2013 season is over.
Tight end Heath Miller is hopefully another day closer to being ready for the start of the 2013 season, so David and I both weigh in with our thoughts of where he might be come Week 1. Is the tight end position off the board completely now that Matt Spaeth has been signed? Is it still possible that they draft one in the first two rounds? We discuss it.
Now that a lot of the pro days over, David and I try to narrow the first round pick for the Steelers to just a small group of names. You tell us if we left somebody out. What about Ohio state linebacker John Simon as a mid round selection? We invite you to email us your thoughts on him.
As usual, we mix in a few more Steelers talking points and read a few emails that have come in from our listeners recently.
There will be no show on Monday of next week as we will have to do it on Tuesday because David will be tied up with the start of baseball season.
