Former Steelers LB James Harrison Claims He Had A Good Visit With The Bengals

It was reported on Thursday that Former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison visited with the Cincinnati Bengals, and according to Harrison on Twitter, he had a good visit.

Don\’t they all?

Ian Rapaport of reported on the Thursday evening edition of Total Access that the also Bengals liked what they heard from Harrison during his visit, but that there will be no immediate signing.

It is unlikely that Harrison will reach a deal with any team prior to the draft taking place, but the Bengals are in need of linebacker to play on the strong side opposite Vontaze Burfict with Manny Lawson now with the Buffalo Bills.

The Bengals have also has free agent linebacker Karlos Dansby, who is a few years younger than Harrison, in for a visit recently as well.

As it looks right now, Cincinnati looks to be Harrison\’s one and only possible landing spot, but that could change quickly after the draft.

    …hopefully not with the Bengals

  • Douglas Andrews

Good Luck Silverback hope you get a job just not in our division…thanks for everything!

  • David Edward

I think he stil has another year left but not sure he is a good fit for the 43. Yes he can play the SAM and do ok against the run, but he isn’t effective in pass coverage. Would be interesting to see how they use him.

  • Please NO..We need to keep Ben Healthy this year. The last thing we need is James coming after him two games a year.
