Report: Free Agent RB Ahmad Bradshaw Also Has Interest From Packers & Broncos

Free agent running back Ahmad Bradshaw, who visited with the Pittsburgh Steelers just last week, is back in the news on Friday as Pro Football Talk reports that the Green Bay Packers and the Denver Broncos are also interested in the former 1,000 yard rusher for the New York Giants.

Bradshaw, who still had a boot on his surgically repaired right foot as of last week, has been linked to Steelers, Packers and New York Jets since his early offseason release, but this is the first time that we have seen the Broncos reported as having interest.

Bradshaw took a physical while in Pittsburgh last week, but that was the extent of things. Reports stated that the Steelers were wanting him to revisit in a few more weeks, but there are no guarantees that he will.

With the draft now just three weeks away, the Steelers are likely to stand pat at the running back position until that passes. They have already had Texas A&M running back Christine Michael and UCLA running back Johnathan Franklin in for pre draft visits this past week, and more draft hopeful running backs will likely follow next week.

The Steelers also currently have just under $2 million in salary cap space to work with until June 1st, so this would also poise a problem with signing Bradshaw before then.
