Steelers Bring In Penn State LB Michael Mauti & Clemson DE/LB Malliciah Goodman For Pre Draft Visits

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a few more pre draft visitors in on Wednesday as Penn State linebacker Michael Mauti and Clemson linebacker Malliciah Goodman are both in town today.

Mauti, who we gave the heads up on Tuesday, is still rehabbing his torn MCL that he suffered in November of last year, but according to him, the rehab is ahead of schedule.

Mauti registered 183 total tackles and 4.5 sacks in 39 games while in college. He also tore up a knee three times in five seasons. He is slated to be a late round draft prospect due to his medical red flags.

Goodman, who measured in at the combine last month at 6035 and 276 pounds, played defensive end at Clemson, where he registered 127 total tackles and 12 sacks in 54 games.

Goodman ran the 40-yard dash in 4.70 and 4.67 seconds, recorded a 33-inch vertical, a 9-foot-9 broad jump, a 4.48-second short shuttle run and 7.10-seconds in the three-cone drill. He also had 26 reps on the bench and has his nearly 37-inch-long arms.

The Steelers are likely looking at Goodman as an outside linebacker prospect. He is not expected to be drafted until the fifth round or later.
