About Dave Bryan

I am, I'm me. 40 something, retired and a life long Steelers fan.

A big surprise Steelers are looking at a DE to make into a OLB John Simon.I like all of these players!

  • steeltown

I like the size of C.Michael.. has some meat on his bones but not overly big so still has good quickness

  • CP 72

Michael could be the best back in the draft. He looked like a man among boys at the East/West game. Head butted a coach and missed meetings at the combine, so there are some major red flags. Doesn’t really sound like a Steelers kind of guy, but he could be a steal in the 3rd.
Simon is the complete opposite. Try hard effort guy. I think of another Steelers/Ohio State guy when I look at him (Mike Vrabel).
Williams is likely a special teams beast that will be a liability in coverage, but you get in between the hashes with him and we will knock the fillings out of your teeth.

Oddly enough didn’t the qb from Virginie Tech complete 62 out of 64 passes at the combine? Accuracy cannot be coached and therefore he might be an interesting study under big Ben.

  • Andrew Grigsby

Simon would be a good fit in the 4th round, he needs some time to learn the NFL game and the OLB position. But he’s a work out warrior and is good against the run.

  • Shannon Stephenson

Michael is a no for me not because of talent but because he is a huge diva. Do not need the headache. Williams has not done squat for FSU. He is a no. I do like Simon a lot but he is too slow to be a OLB. He needs more bulk to be a DE but he is strong and hard working. I would get him just for ST and hope he can be a back up.

  • Kyle Owens

Man I hope we get Vince Williams. 6-1, 250. a thumper.
