Report: Max Starks Visiting With Cardinals On Tuesday

According to Josina Anderson of ESPN on Twitter, free agent tackle Max Starks is visiting with the Arizona Cardinals on Tuesday and she is told that he is already in the midst of taking his physical.

Starks, who played every offensive snap last season for the Pittsburgh Steelers, reportedly visited the San Diego Chargers last week, but left town without a deal.

Starks link to the Cardinals is an obvious one as former Steelers offensive coordinator Bruce Arians is now the head coach there, and former Steelers offensive assistants Harold Goodwin and Larry Zierlein are also on the Cardinals coaching staff.

According to a recent interview with Starks, the Steelers reached out to their 2004 draft pick prior to them signing free agent tackle Guy Whimper last week and the Florida product took that signing as them officially moving on from him.

Starks stated in that same interview that he wanted a chance to compete for a starting job wherever he lands and that he believed he would sign somewhere prior to the start of OTA sessions beginning around the league.
