Season 3, Episode 99 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I have quite a bit to talk about in our second post draft episode. We start off by talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers decision to sign punter Brian Moorman to compete with Drew Butler in training camp and both agree that it was a pretty good signing. The Steelers also appear to be in the market for a free agent tackle and of course that means Max Starks needs to be discussed once again as a possibility.
The Steelers selected Illinois cornerback Terry Hawthorne in the fifth-round of the draft so we talk about him in-depth as well as the players that were taken after him. After discussing those draft picks we briefly discuss a few of the undrafted free agents such as wide receiver Reggie Dunn and long snapper Luke Ingram.
Charlie Batch has made his rounds recently on the local radio stations so we discuss what he said about his future as well as his comments that he made about the Steelers drafting Landry Jones. Emmanuel Sanders also made the media rounds on Wednesday so we discuss all of the important things that he had to say.
The father of Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray is upset that the Steelers didn\’t draft his son, so we discuss that briefly as it relates to Jones.
A betting website has an interesting over/under prop line on Jarvis Jones so we can\’t help but discuss that.
In addition a few more Steelers talking points are discussed that I failed to cover here per the usual.
As always, thanks for listening and don\’t forget to call or email with questions or comments and please pass us along to your friends!
