Season 3, Episode 103 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I are all over the place on Thursday as we discuss the signing of Pittsburgh Steelers fourth-round draft pick Shamarko Thomas for starters. General manager Kevin Colbert updated the rehab progress of linebacker Sean Spence during his conference call with season ticket holders this week, so we pass along that news to you along with the comments that he made about undrafted free agent wide receiver Reggie Dunn.
J.D. Woods is another undrafted wide receiver that the Steelers signed to compete at training camp for a roster spot, so David and I discuss him after finally learning more about the West Virginia product.
Free agent tackle Max Starks continues to make free agent visits, so we discuss that as well as the New Orleans Saints decision this week to release offensive lineman Ryan Lee, who was on the Steelers practice squad for a while last season.
David and I discuss a few other news and notes from around the league and then talk about the Steelers directional rushing stats from 2012 as well as the big plays produced by the running backs.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver reportedly drew the most flags last season, so that gets our attention and at the end of the show we are asked to by a listener to discuss the credentials of new Steelers offensive line coach Jack Bicknell Jr., so we oblige the request.
As usual, a few other talking points are of course mixed in along way.
As always, thanks for listening and don\’t forget to call or email with questions or comments and please pass us along to your friends!
